The Mindful Leader (On-site, 1 Day)
During the Genos Mindful Leader Program, participants establish the foundations to supercharge their teams with powerful skills and techniques. Combining the power of neuroscience, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence, individuals learn to become leaders who naturally engage their people for superior results. Attendees learn essential competencies for sustaining peak performance, creativity, and motivation in themselves and others – even in the face of extreme stress and challenging times.
Prior to the start of the training program, every attendee completes a Genos Leadership Assessment. They complete a self-assessment of their emotional intelligence behaviors, and then they select individuals from whom they would like to receive feedback. The Genos assessments are unique in that they measure how you are seen to show up at work and how important your raters deem these behaviors to be for your position. Moreover, they gather input on six emotionally intelligent behaviors: 1) Self-Awareness, 2) Awareness of Others, 3) Authenticity, 4) Emotional Reasoning, 5) Self-Management, and 6) Inspiring Performance.
All attendees receive a customized report that includes their assessment results and a development tips workbook to help them develop key behaviors of emotional intelligence. The program covers all of the theories that participants need to show up in the workplace in a mindful and emotionally intelligent way, but at its heart, it is a practical program designed for leaders who want to make a difference and maximize their impact. Participants focus on building practical and actionable mindfulness and emotional intelligence skills that they can begin applying right away in the workplace. There is a distinct focus on how to take all the learning back to the organization right away in order to make a noticeable difference in how participants show up. Everyone learns how to decide which practices are most suited for them at this moment in time.
The Resilient Leader (On-site, 1 Day)
Prior to the training program, every attendee completes a Genos Leadership Assessment. They complete a self-assessment of their emotional intelligent behaviors, and then they select individuals from whom they would like to receive feedback.
Each attendee receives a customized report for the program that includes their assessment results, along with a development tips workbook to help them develop key emotional intelligence behaviors. The course dives into the neuroscience of emotions along with the effects of positive and negative emotions on people. Studying emotional intelligence in leadership helps participants understand and interpret their own emotional intelligence assessment results and how to focus on key areas for development. The program then goes through techniques and strategies to develop higher levels of personal resilience.
In order to develop an action plan to boost resilience in multiple areas of life, attendees will work through strategies for this in four areas: physiological, relationship, thinking, and environment. Then they dive into powerful models for developing resilience in each of these areas. Developing the levels of resilience for leaders can be truly life-changing. Attendees will document insights and build an action plan to take back to their lives and work environment so they can start having a more positive impact straight away. It is a comprehensive and enjoyable program to experience.
